During my fall internship at Siloam Springs High School, I sent out the permission slip below to introduce myself to parents before my classes moved on to our next project. In the documents below, I commended my students on the work they achieved on their storytelling unit and that I wanted to celebrate their hard work with a viewing of Hamilton the Musical. To respect parents' wishes about what their children watch at school and the PG-13 rating of Hamilton, I used this document to let parents know of the rating and resources they can utilize if they feel unsure about Hamilton's content. At to bottom of the document is a google form that parents fill out to permit their students to watch this movie in class.
